Call for Papers
Women in Public Affairs at Roanoke College invites panel and/paper proposals for our conference
“Gender, Politics and Society” which takes place on March 25th - 26th
at the Roanoke College campus, in Salem, Virginia.
This event is part of the Women’s History month here on campus.
We aim to bring together graduate and undergraduate students as well as scholars engaged in research on a wide range of topics related to gender in politics and society. Topics include:

4.gender stereotyping in the media

5.intersection of class, race and gender

6.women with and in higher education

7.feminist political theory

9.gender and youth
Our keynote address of the conference will be the noted feminist political philosopher Professor Drucilla Cornell of Rutgers University on March 25, 2011.
